Why participate in a coaching group? What can you gain from one?
By joining, you will discover that you are not alone in facing life’s challenges. You will benefit from the shared wisdom and experience of the Coach and the participants in the group.
Dr. Spiegel conducts in-person and teleconference groups on numerous topics.
In-Person Groups - These are workshops designed with a flexible format so that they are adaptable to professionals or laypersons, and are suitable for a variety of settings, including homes, schools and charitable institutions.
Teleconference Groups – These groups are intended to meet the needs of women who are unable to participate in on-site workshops. They are low-cost and highly effective. In addition - because these groups take place over the telephone - they provide a unique opportunity for women in geographically diverse locations to “meet” and support each other. Upcoming Teleconference Groups
The next teleconference groups will take place this summer, beginning June 16th, 2008. In response to popular demand we will focus on Parenting Children with AD/HD.
There will be two sessions, one in the morning and the other in the evening. Each teleconference group will be limited to 8 women, in order to maintain an atmosphere of trust, mutual support and confidentiality.
Many group participants are so pleased with the support and knowledge they receive from each other and from the coach that we continue to meet after our initial sessions!
Here is the list of topics that we will cover:
Diagnosis of AD/HD: What does it mean?
The challenges of a child with AD/HD
Individual situations, common patterns
Parenting without frustration
Collaborating with your child’s school
Feeling competent and in control
