Event Details

We know that all children use behaviour as communication, but how do we understand what is being communicated?

In this class, you’ll explore how your child shows their emotions through behaviour, signs they need your support, and how you can best support them.

You will learn:

  • Common ways children communicate their feelings using behaviour
  • The reasons behind challenging behaviour
  • Calming ideas to help your child stay in control of strong feelings
  • Practical suggestions to reduce challenging behaviour

About our classes:

Our online parenting classes all run on Zoom and last for around 60 minutes. A friendly coach will be ready to greet you when you join to share the key points you’ll be covering during the session.

Your class will reflect on research and current thinking as well as sharing practical ideas you can use at home. There will also be time for you to ask any questions, but don’t worry, we’ll never put you on the spot or expect you to talk.
