Chris Williams explains how you can best support your child if they struggle to learn.

In this episode, expert guest, Chris Williams, discusses barriers to learning and communication both at school and at home. Chris explores the importance of understanding working memory and how pictures can be used to support learning.

Chris is a former special school teacher and special educational needs co-ordinator (SENCO) from Hull. He developed the Chatta approach to teaching and learning which focuses on teaching through images and spoken language, and designed the Chatta software.

Chris recommends the book Thinking in Pictures by Temple Grandin.
